Two GM workers arrested for racing 2020 Corvettes in Ky., police say
Kentucky State Troopers arrested two GM workers in Bowling Inexperienced, Ky., after police caught the boys racing two 2020 Chevrolet Corvettes at 11:20 p.m. on Jan. 8.
In keeping with arrest citations obtained by Automotive Information, police charged Mark Derkatz, 30, of Windsor, Ontario, and Alexander Thim, 27, of West Bloomfield, Mich., with dashing 26 mph or extra over the pace restrict, reckless driving and racing a motorized vehicle on a public freeway.
Thim hit a high pace of 120 mph and Derkatz reached a high pace of 100 mph in a 45 mph zone, the arrest citations stated.
